Dr. Eva-Maria Hasenbeck is disrupting conventional medicine by implementing functional medicine. Patients suffering from chronic diseases such as Hashimoto´s and Lyme disease can now be helped with a holistic root cause analysis and advanced laboratory testing.
“We are more than just our body”, is what Dr. Eva claims and beautifully explains how to mend body and mind together to heal. Dr. Eva-Maria Hasenbeck is an ophthalmologist and Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO), a member of the Deutsche Borreliose Gesellschaft.
After suffering from the symptoms of her Hashimoto’s disease for over ten years herself, she was looking for ways to work on her health independently. In retrospect, that was when she became more or less “hooked” on Functional Medicine. Meanwhile, she is officially the first German physician certified by the Institute For Functional Medicine, The Wahls Protocol (Dr. Terry Wahls) and ReCODE 2.0 (Dr. Dale Bredesen). She has also written a Book on the topic of functional medicine in her field of study.
She has opened her own private practice for Functional Medicine in Northeim, Germany, the town where she lives with her family.
When working with patients, she uses Functional Medicine lab testing on a deeper level, leveraging the lab results to achieve the best possible outcome for every single patient.
